Storyboard Style, Forest Studies

Numerous quick studies of "The Owl House" and "Amphibia" forest backgrounds, with references taken from actual storyboards (TOH) and official episode screenshots (Amphibia). As I progressed in the pieces, I explored adding more and more details to make the pieces more full. I also kept the grayscale order in mind, from light to dark and dark to light, to add depth.

Also explored different composition set ups, with an outward scene view, low angle view, eye level horizon view, and directional setups.
